Lakeland District Honors Individuals Who Improve Quality of Life for all Citizens
Nominations for women may be submitted under any one of the following categories: Abilities Awareness, Arts or Entertainment, Business, Diversity Champion, Education, Government Service or Law, Growing Leadership, Health or Social Services, Humanitarianism, Media, Sports, Volunteerism or Youth Achiever.
Diversity Champion nominees are women who assist, mentor, and advance women in all areas of community life.
Nominations are due October 12, 2009. Selected honorees must be available for the luncheon on March 2010.

SBA- 2010 SMALL BUSINESS AWARD
Help the SBA recognize outstanding leaders in the small business community.
Award Categories: Small Business Person of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Minority Small Business Person of the Year, Emerging Small Business Person, Small Business Champions of the Year.
SBA's size standards apply in defining a business as small- individuals who own and operate or bear principal responsibility for operating a small business are eligible.
Self-nominations accepted. Nominations are due October 2, 2009.
