Member note: This is a really big award in Racine. They first started giving them in 1988, and they honor 6 or 7 women each year along with 1 or 2 young women. The luncheon where the awards are given is attended by over 300 people each year, and is given a big newspaper play when they are announced.  The important part is activities beyond a woman's regular job and the role model projected. They do a great video presentation about each winner at the luncheon also.
